Project Manager – Machinery & Production Projects in the Food Industry
Lead technical projects that improve food production. From equipment upgrades to factory renovations, turn smart solutions into measurable impact across our international sites.
Take the lead on technical projects that shape modern food production
Are you the kind of technical project leader who enjoys turning complex production challenges into practical, well-executed solutions? Do you want to take ownership of projects where engineering, machinery, people, and factory operations come together?
Then this could be the opportunity that gives you the right balance of technical depth, responsibility, and real impact.
Your role
As a Technical Project Manager at Scandi Standard, you will take overall responsibility for leading and delivering technical investment projects within the poultry industry, primarily in brownfield environments where existing factories and facilities must keep running while improvements are planned and implemented. Your projects may range from focused equipment installations, such as metal detectors, to larger factory upgrades and renovation projects.
You will manage the full project journey from early analysis and technical design to implementation and handover. This includes developing factory layouts, assessing technical solutions, coordinating stakeholders, driving progress, and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Why join us?
Scandi Standard is the leading poultry producer in the Nordics, Lithuania and the Netherlands, with more than 3,000 employees delivering tasty, healthy food to consumers and restaurants every day.
You will become part of our Group Technology team, an international organization responsible for investment and optimization projects across production sites in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Lithuania.
For a technical project leader, this means working close to the operation, where decisions are visible, solutions are tested in real production environments, and improvements make a measurable difference. Innovation and sustainability are central to our agenda, including initiatives to reduce plastic use and develop more sustainable production solutions.
No two projects are the same. One assignment may be a targeted equipment upgrade, while the next may involve a major factory renovation or the build-up of new production capacity. The variety gives you the opportunity to combine hands-on technical understanding with structured project leadership and continuous learning.

You are motivated by analysis, improvement opportunities, and finding solutions that work in practice. At the same time, you know that successful projects depend on people, and you are able to involve, align, and engage others across functions and locations.
Preferred qualifications:
· Several years of experience leading technical or engineering-related projects
· Experience with project budgeting, planning, and scheduling
