Technical Product Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to lead the technical direction, delivery and ongoing performance of our product portfolio. In this role you will act as the bridge between product management, engineering and operations to ensure products meet customer needs, regulatory requirements and internal quality standards. You will provide technical leadership across the product lifecycle, from design and validation to release, support and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
Technical leadership: Define and maintain technical standards, architectures and best practices for the product portfolio. Provide hands‑on technical guidance and decision making throughout development and deployment.
Product lifecycle management: Lead technical activities across concept, development, validation, release and maintenance phases. Ensure robust handover to operations and support teams.
Cross‑functional collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineering, QA, regulatory and operations to align technical priorities with business and customer requirements.
Requirements & specifications: Translate customer and market requirements into clear technical specifications and acceptance criteria. Own the technical backlog and ensure traceability of requirements.
Quality & compliance: Ensure products comply with relevant standards, regulations and internal quality processes. Drive root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for technical issues.
Release & support readiness: Coordinate release activities, validation and deployment plans. Ensure support teams have adequate documentation, training and diagnostics to manage live products.
Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve product reliability, manufacturability and serviceability. Lead technical initiatives to reduce cost, risk and downtime.
People development: Coach and mentor engineers and technical stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture.
Reporting: Provide regular technical status reports, risk assessments and metrics to stakeholders and senior management.
Your profile
Degree in engineering, applied sciences or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience in a technical product management, product engineering or technical programme management role.
Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, systems engineering and quality management.
Experience working with cross‑functional teams in agile and stage‑gate environments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
Structured, analytical and results‑oriented with a hands‑on approach to problem solving.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and certification processes relevant to the product domain is desirable.
Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
