Do you want to be involved in shaping the financial management of our IT initiatives in an international group? We are looking for an experienced IT Business Controller who is passionate about creating structure, analyzing data, and linking operational performance to financial results.
In this key role, you will work both strategically and operationally in close collaboration with IT, finance, and management teams to optimize costs drive successful IT projects. This is a unique opportunity to work at the Group level of a publicly listed company in the center of Stockholm. About the role
As an IT Business Controller, you are part of Group Business Control and have the overall responsibility for managing and monitoring the Group's IT costs and ensuring that the financial and operational reporting within IT is accurate, up-to-date and complies with applicable accounting principles. The role requires both strategic and operational capabilities, with a focus on linking operational performance to financial performance. You report to the Head of Group Business Control and are part of the IT management team.
Main responsibilities
- Be responsible for IT budget, forecasting, and KPI development to optimize costs and resource utilization.
- Identify efficiencies and implement cost-saving measures.
- Ensure accurate and consistent accounting and deliver reports on IT expenses and deviations.
- Supporting project managers with business cases and monitoring financial targets for IT projects.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Develop long-term financial strategies for IT investments and contribute to the overall goals of the business.
Qualifications and personal qualities
We are looking for someone with 5-10 years of experience in controlling, preferably in an IT or project environment. You have strong analytical skills, are confident in making data-driven decisions, enjoy partnering with key stakeholders, and have experience in developing and monitoring KPIs. Solid knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, as well as a good understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance are prerequisites.
As a person, you dare to challenge and question the status quo and describe the current situation, even when it involves challenges. You clearly distinguish between outcomes and explanations and create solutions that work for all parties. Your ability to adapt working methods and communication to the strengths of individuals and organizations is central, as much of the work is done through others.
You are a structured and solution-oriented person who can sort information and create a synthesis based on what needs to be achieved. You switch with ease between details and a holistic perspective. In addition, you have an ability to establish basic processes that help teams work according to their strengths, creating sustainable and efficient ways of working.
Fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English is a requirement, and you are a strong team player who plans your and others' work to ensure that main activities start and end on time.

The position is full-time, located at the head office, which is located in Lindhagen (Kungsholmen) in Stockholm. Limited need for travel. The opportunity to work from home is available one day a week.
